The Ohio Department of Education, Pupil Transportation, is offering a class for community school sponsors, authorizers, and operators.  This one day session will address the critical issues surrounding transportation services for community school students, and for agencies wishing to receive transportation funding.  

Topics covered will include requirements, types of permitted vehicles, communications with the districts of residence, qualifications and compliance requirements, desk audits, and the correct filing requirements and timelines for community schools.

The registration fee of $125.00 per person includes a lunch and handout materials for attendees. Payment must be made in advance, using a major credit card, at the time of online registration.

Representatives from ODE and OAPT will provide the information for this seminar.  Recent concerns by community schools, parents, and sponsors make offering this training session a necessity in order for the legal and safe transportation services to be provided to community school students.
